Jaz Band |
Recognized by many as America's classical music, Jazz has been a moving genre with millions of followers not only in North America but also in so many other places around the world. Throughout the early part of the 20th century, various types of jazz-inspired music such as Bebop, ragtime, blues, and big band were prominently heard among African Americans. Eventually, other people of different ethnic origins showed tremendous interest in this brand of music and since then, the jazz band has always become a proud American tradition.
Some of the more famous jazz band artists include Miles Davis, Louis Armstrong, and Billie Holiday and these folks have given inspiration to today's modern jazz band folks. The jazz band ensemble usually composed of a horn section and a rhythm section. In the past, the latter section includes the piano, drums, tuba, or the bass while the horn section has the trumpet, clarinet, and the trombone. Now, you will see some additional music instruments like the double bass and the rhythm guitar. Other large jazz band groups, which play in swing orchestras even, include accordions and banjos. There are jazz artists who play solo instruments like the saxophone, the piano, and the acoustic guitar.
